Lola Rubio
Lola Rubio, Madrid 1976, was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method by Claude Spinasier in 1999 in Montpellier, after which it became her main and fundamental practice. She trained professionally in Paris in the method from 2004 to 2007 with Myriam Pffeifer, a student and close friend of Moshe Feldenkrais himself, Paul Newton, and others. She continues to practice as a teacher and as a tool for artistic creation.
Trained in classical and contemporary dance, she is a professional dancer and performer before discovering the Feldenkrais Method. Lola has worked as a performer with numerous choreographers throughout Europe: Gilles Jobin, Eszter Salamon, Martin Pisani, Cristhian Rizzo, Isabel Schad, Juan Dominguez, Arantxa Martinez, Martin Nachbach, Simone Autelogny, Mickael Philippeau, Julia Rodriguez, among others. She has also worked as an assistant body trainer in diferents contemporary and experimental dance creations, activating the preparation of the body through the method.
Lola has trained more specifically in pelvic floor and diaphragmatic work, and she also practices and is interested in diferents hypnosis works and somatic practices that she has been practicing and practice for years, such as Bodymind Centering, Hipnosis Ericksonian ,Sensory Awareness, among others.
